We are the JVA Harmony Group, a group of companies involved in the businesses of hotel management and marketing, food production, water delivery, and trading. We have been in the hotel and hospitality industry since 1975 with El Cielito Hotels. Our founder, Jorge V. Angeles, who has been the Chairman and Director of Marketing of El Cielito Hotels, decided to spin off its Marketing Division and established JVA Harmony Hotels Inc. last 2017 as a hotel management and marketing company. Our expertise lies in marketing hotels for events and functions, primarily for meetings, seminars and trainings. We hold live-in functions, live-out functions and we do catering as well.
With the hospitality industry taking a hit during the pandemic, we pivoted and branched out into a couple other businesses. One of these is food production so we could utilize and maximize our kitchens during the pandemic. This has also served as a good venue for our hotel chefs to exercise their creativity and ingenuity in the kitchen. With this comes the birth of two of our food brands: Harmony Meals and The Lucky Baker.
WHAT WE DO
Harmony Meals serves frozen precooked meals, marinated meats and ready-to-eat meals. These meals have been cooked and packaged the same day to guarantee quality and freshness. Most meals also come in either solo packs or family packs. We currently have around 30 different products of beef, chicken, pork and seafood with a lot more being developed by our chefs. Some of our bestsellers include crispy pata, beef ribs caldereta, and chicken inasal.
The Lucky Baker, meanwhile, houses our baked goods, pastries and cakes. Upon its inception in 2020, The Lucky Baker has started with various pastries and breads. Our cheese rolls, whole wheat bread and baguette have consistently been part of our top selling items. Recently, we have expanded into cakes and are continuously creating new flavors and variants of cakes, though our Chocolate Touch, Mocha Latte and Red Velvet cakes have been our regular bestsellers. Moreover, we have been expanding past breads and pastries with offerings such as lengua de gato and crinkles.
We also offer whole and ground coffee beans under our Harmony Coffee brand. We currently have two variants: Classic, which is a blend of arabica and robusta beans, and Premium, our 100% pure arabica beans variant.
WHERE WE ARE
Our main office is located in Makati, which serves as our corporate headquarters as well as a delivery hub. Our kitchen operations are located in Los Baños, Laguna. With this setup, our food operations are able to cater to NCR and most of the CALABARZON area.
